I am so thrilled to introduce you to another successful and amazing businesswoman, the owner of facial clinic in Sarasota, Facepop, Cassi Dambrogio.
I met Cassi and her team a little over a year ago when I moved my studio to the same building where her business is. She warmly welcomed me as her new neighbor and invited me right away to her Grand Opening party which was amazing!
The approach at FACEPOP is like no other. They are the only Skin Revision Clinic specializing in Enzyme Therapy in the Lakewood Ranch/Sarasota area and they are obsessed with helping people achieve their best skin possible.
Cassi and her team, Kim and Kaitlin are passion able about making your skin healthy and glow and their knowledge about the skin treatments and the proper regime is simply mind-blowing. The variety of treatments they offer is wide and they will guide you to choose the best for your type of skin. From facials to more specialized enzyme treatments and micro-needling, you can rest assure that you leave their beautiful clinic with glowing skin.
Cassi has worked so hard this past year to develop and bring a brand new product to her clinic, a product that she designed herself, Facepop Iced Tea, Melt, and Berry Punch! It’s been a little over a month since the launch and she has a growning group of fans of her new products!
What inspired you to start your own business?
I was once the client. Constantly looking for answers for my skin and health. I went to a handful of doctors that would just prescribe me medications to treat the symptoms instead of asking questions and getting to the root cause. After my own journey, I knew I wanted to start my own business to help others and educate them on how to help their skin, just like I wish someone would of helped me.
What inspires your work and what sets you apart from everyone else?
Seeing the transformations in our clients when they first come in and then after we achieve the results is such an amazing feeling. My team and I truly care about our clients and do a thorough health questionnaire during our consultations to help them reach their skin goals!
What is your background and how did you develop the skills to start your business?
I have always been a skin junkie trying every product and treatment. I just knew in my gut that I always wanted to be in this industry. Before I went out on my own I worked at different skin clinics and learned so much from my co-workers who are still now close friends. During those jobs I had my own health journey and it pushed me into a different direction with skin that I am so thankful for. I have flown to Australia to take courses, attend seminars, and read books to continue my education and share with my team. We truly love what we do!
What has been your biggest success to date?
I would have to say creating my own skincare line that I just launched in December of 2020! It was a silver lining during an insane year and I am so proud of it! The frozen serum Iced Tea is such a unique product that is so fun and refreshing to use, the cleansing oil Melt is a beautiful velvety oil to help remove debris or makeup from the day, and Berry Punch is an exfoliating botanical mask that uses fruit enzymes and AHAs to help exfoliate and brighten the skin.
What has been your biggest challenge?
Navigating through COVID. We are still a new business only 2.5 years old and then getting thrown into a pandemic was extremely challenging. It’s been a rough and heart-breaking year for a lot of people but we just have to remain positive and grateful that we are still here and have the best clients supporting us during these times.
If you could go back to the beginning knowing what you know now, what would you have done differently?
I would have been less hard on myself to think I needed to know everything. As a business owner you aren’t perfect, and you are going to make mistakes along the way. That’s the way you learn and grow and understand what works best for you and your business.
What’s your best advice for someone who wants to start her own business?
Just do it. Stop overthinking it and just go for it. Of course, be smart and make sure you have a plan in place but stop doubting yourself and making excuses -you got this!!
What’s something about you (a fun fact) that not many people know?
Hmm I’m a pretty open book but I would say most people don’t know that I am Canadian, I speak jibberish and I’m afraid of roller coasters.

American Cancer Society for Breast Cancer Awareness month!
Favorite restaurants in town
This is a hard one..I’d have to say right now the Drunken Poet. They have the best gluten free pad thai!
What’s the coolest thing you’re working on right now?
My skin care line! It has been such an amazing experience creating my own skin care products and to finally launch them feels so surreal. I am also excited to be working on more FACEPOP skin goodies that are soon to come!
