Laurie, I’m wishing you all the best in your real estate endeavor!
What inspired you to start your own business?
My entire career has been in real estate. I started out in support roles, learned the business from the inside out. Helping others achieve their real estate goals inspires me. After years of teaching other Realtors how to sell real estate, helping them to negotiate deals, solve challenges and effective ways to market properties I figured it was time for me to help buyers and sellers directly.
What makes your business unique?
Residential real estate sales is very unique in that it usually involves the biggest financial investment most people make.
What product/services do you offer?
Listing and marketing your home. Finding residential real estate for buyers or investors.
What inspires your work and what sets you apart from everyone else?
My background makes me stand out. I tell people "I grew up with real estate". My first full-time job was at a real estate office. I then worked for the local MLS as their MLS specialist. For years I was the VP of marketing and also earned my Broker's license and managed an office for several years. All of these experiences allow me to understand the process from every point of view. It has also honed my negotiation, contract and marketing skills which allows me to provide my clients a skill set that no other agent can match.
What has been your biggest challenge?
Taking the first step to set up my business. It was intimidating to make the commitment.
What’s your best advice for someone who wants to start a business?
Make sure you have done your research before you make the commitment. It is so important to understand the depth of what you are committing to. You will need enough resources, to invest in the right tools, and be committed to constant education.
What’s something about you (a fun fact) that not many people know?
I am one of nine siblings.
What do you love the most about Sarasota?
Sarasota is such a special place. To be outside year round is a blessing. Running, walking, swimming, biking and just looking at the water and wildlife will renew your spirit.
How do you define success?
Seeing the excited faces of the homebuyers at closing and helping others to succeed.

Continue to grow my brand so I can help more buyers and sellers achieve their goals.
